The roll out for the Drake x Nike partnership has picked up steam in the past few months. Following the release of the “Laugh Now Cry Later” video in August, shot at Nike’s World Headquarters in Oregon, and the release of the Drake x Nike “Certified Lover Boy” album merch, we now have additional info on NOCTA, a new Drake x Nike sub-label.

Named after Drake’s nocturnal creative process, NOCTA is a project that has been in the works for over two years. “Whether you are in Toronto, London or Paris, there’s this uniform look — Nike Tech Fleece, the gloves, the hat — and it has a real team feel,” explains Drake in an op-ed piece for Nike News. “I wanted to take a piece of that culture that I grew up with, that school of thought, and bring the best to it. With NOCTA, we were trying to make the hardest jacket, the hardest tracksuit, the hardest gloves. Just the best of that world.”

New teaser images give us a better look at black puffer jackets, previewed initially in a private @12.18.2020 Instagram account, the handle switched now to officialnocta. The images also show Drake in a yellow puffer with matching hoodie and pants. The first NOCTA drop goes down December 18th, possibly on the new nocta.com website. Expect a full reveal to arrive in the coming days.
