Original Story (9/5/19): Skating and clothing brand Fucking Awesome will be joining forces with adidas Skateboarding on a collaborative release.
Fucking Awesome was founded by legendary skater Jason Dill in the early 2000s. Previous collabs with the Three Stripes include a FA x adidas Skateboarding 3ST.002 by Na-Kel Smith in 2018 and more recently a Jason Dill adidas Samba, released earlier this summer.
Judging by a couple teaser images, this third Fucking Awesome x adidas collab comes in the form of a low-cut tennis-style sneaker, similar to a Stan Smith. Two colorways of the collaborative sneaker have been revealed, purple and orange. Each one comes equipped with a tonal leather upper on top of a black midsole. A gold Fucking Awesome embellishment is seen on the lateral side panel.

Update (9/18/19): The full Fucking Awesome x adidas collection has been revealed. The collab includes four colorways of the Stan Smith: Lucky Orange, Chalk Purple, Semi Solar Green, and White. Along with the reveal, Fucking Awesome has shared a claymation visual animated by Johannes Gamble starring Jason Dill. Check the full reveal and visual below.
All four Fucking Awesome x adidas Stan Smiths will release on September 21st at Fucking Awesome’s Hollywood location. An online release will take place on fuckingawesomestore.com at 6PM PT/8PM CT. The retail price tag is set at $110 USD each.
