Gap recently made headlines with the launch of its Gap Threads NFT series and its YEEZY GAP Engineered by Balenciaga partnership with Ye and Demna. More recently, the American clothing brand has revealed an upcoming collab with Harlem’s own Dapper Dan.
The legendary fashion designer stars in Gap’s “American Dream” Spring 2022 campaign alongside a diverse cast of creatives. Shot by renowned fashion photographer Zoey Grossman, the campaign also features Shalom Harlow, Kai-Isaiah Jamal, Indira Scott, Georgie Badiel-Liberty, Yumi Nu, Clementine Desseaux, Chito, Raph, The Spearman Brothers, Bryant Giles, David “illy” Bennett, and Ryan Yoo (aka boylife).
As campaign headliner, Dapper Dan has also collaborated with Gap on his own take on the Gap’s signature arch logo hoodie. It comes in a salmon pink colorway and features “DAP” across the chest in black chenille lettering.
