Metallica will be releasing The Metallica Blacklist on September 10th, a 53-track covers album celebrating the 30th anniversary of the best-selling album of the past three decades: The Black Album. The unprecedented project features over 50 artists spanning a vast range of genres and generations, with contributions from everyone from Miley Cyrus and Elton John to Weezer and Flatbush Zombies. Reggaeton superstar J Balvin is also part of the album, recently releasing his rap-rock take of Metallica’s “Wherever I May Roam.”

To celebrate the collaboration, J Balvin has launched a merch capsule consisting of a hoodie, two tees, socks, beanies, and a bandana. Graphics feature J Balvin’s smiley face logo combined with Metallica’s “Ride The Lightning” logo and album cover art.

All profits from every track of The Metallica Blacklist will benefit Metallica’s charitable foundation, All Within My Hands, along with a charity of each artist’s choice (pre-order the album here). Similarly, all profits from the J Balvin x Metallica merch capsule with benefit All Within My Hands as well as J Balvin’s charity of choice, St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
