Inspired by Jaden Smith’s favorite New Balance X-Racer and 1700 models, the Vision Racer returns in two opposing colorways, a tonal black and a brighter white. Following the November 2020 “Sunflower Yellow” release, it seems January calls for a more neutral palette.
The dark, near triple black pair is constructed of a predominately vegan-friendly faux leather and suede, while the white pair incorporates mesh for its base. The tonal looks of both colorways are broken up by pink “VISION RACER” branding that runs through the upper’s piping, as well as on the tongue tag and outsole. A robust, segmented midsole preserves the classic bulky finish of the Vision Racer, with a semi-translucent outsole creating the signature icy finish of the Jaden Smith collab.
The two pairs are expected to release on January 29th via New Balance, Finish Line, JD Sports US, and Foot Locker.
