Visual artist and graphic designer Joshua Vides is back with another sportswear giant collab. After bringing his talents to New Balance and Converse, next up is a Joshua Vides x PUMA collection of footwear and apparel.
Joshua Vides is known for his immersive black-and-white pop-art style. His hand-drawn dynamic lines give a 2D effect to 3D objects, as if they are coming straight out of a comic book. The California-based artist is incorporating this technique to PUMA Hoops footwear styles, including the Blaze of Glory, TRC Blaze, and the TRC Blaze Court.
Additionally, the collection includes a four-piece apparel range that also features the same hoops aesthetic of the footwear. The hoodie, crewneck, joggers, and tee also come in a black-and-white color scheme and come adorned with basketball-inspired graphics. Top NBA prospect and PUMA ambassador Mikey Williams stars in the collection’s campaign.
The Joshua Vides x PUMA collection drops on Thursday, September 22nd on the Joshua Vides website and Foot Locker. The footwear styles will also be sold on PUMA.com. Check out the campaign imagery and product shots below.
