KAWS first launched his CHUM collectable figure in 2002. In celebration of the Michelin Man-like character’s 20th anniversary, KAWS is re-releasing the iconic CHUM figure in five colorways.
“I can remember clearly packing and shipping the first CHUM release from my apartment in Brooklyn twenty years ago,” says KAWS in his announcement post. The five variants that will be releasing come in pink, black, white, orange, and yellow. Previous CHUM releases fetch thousands of dollars on the resale market, so expect these to sell out quickly.
The KAWS ‘CHUM’ 20th Anniversary collection will be available Tuesday, August 9th at 12pm ET on KAWSONE.com. Check out all five colorways below.
