Original Story (08/06/20): Following the announcement of his new adidas partnership, NYC-based DJ and comedian Kerwin Frost has now announced a 36-hour live-streamed “variety show” style telethon with the goal of raising $5 million for Colin Kaepernick’s Know Your Rights Camp, which works to advance the liberation and prosperity of black and brown communities across the country through day camps, COVID relief, legal defense, and more.
The telethon will take place starting on August 15th but will go live via Twitch and TikTok at 11AM CT on Sunday, August 16th. Viewers will be able to donate directly, via an auction, and through the show’s gift shop, which will feature merch made in collaboration with the immensely popular Cactus Plant Flea Market. The program itself will be produced by the same people who worked on the popular and off-beat children’s show Yo Gabba Gabba! and will likely include numerous high-profile guests. In fact, Frost has already released a self-directed short featuring A$AP FERG performing a spoken-word piece as part of the project.

Update (08/11/20): Kerwin has unveiled the lineup for his 1st Annual Telethon in support of Know Your Rights Camp. Some of the names revealed include Sheck Wes, Lil Yachty, Kehlani, Beck, and Anderson .Paak.
