Kid Cudi took to Twitter to tease a new collaboration with adidas in conjunction with the new Bill & Ted Face the Music movie coming this year. Cudi, who has a part in the film, says the collaboration came together before he even had the role.
In the 1991 film Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, Ted, played by Keanu Reeves, is seen wearing a white pair of the 1989 adidas Torsion Spectrum Hi, equipped with green laces. Alex Winter’s character, Ted, also wore adidas in the film, the Artillery Hi in black, a high-top sneaker with a large tongue that is hard to miss. Cudi provides a look at an updated colorway that is mostly white and grey with pops of red in the laces and the Adidas Three Stripes.
The announcement of this collaboration is part of a slate of recent work that Cudi has been putting out. The Ohio native has had several film and TV credits recently including HBO’s Westworld, We Are Who We Are, and Bill & Ted Face the Music. Cudi also announced a new album and Netflix show titled Entergalactic in 2019.
Bill & Ted Face the Music is scheduled to premiere on August 21, 2020. Check out the new adidas Artillery Hi “Bill & Ted” colorway that will be releasing in conjunction with the film below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates on its release.
