Kiko Kostadinov Studio has been doing a tremendous job as part of its partnership with ASICS Sportstyle, offering a ton of new, unique silhouettes such as the UB5-S GEL-NIMBUS 9 and HN2-S PROTOBLAST. Mr. Kostadinov himself has now revealed another new ASICS silhouette, this one a collaboration with Japanese label Hysteric Glamour.
The upcoming sneaker was designed by Laura and Deanna Fanning, creative directors of womenswear for Kiko Kostadinov. It features a Y2K-style design and comes dressed in a grey, silver, and pink color scheme. One of the more notable features is the lacing system that attaches to the lateral side panel via Velcro patch, similar to the Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS GEL-Aurania that released in 2020. Underfoot, the midsole is pulled from that of the GEL-QUANTUM LEVITRACK. The shoe appears to be part of a larger Kiko Kostadinov x Hysteric Glamour collection, which was teased by Laura and Deanna Fanning back in August.
Look for this Kiko Kostadinov x Hysteric Glamour x ASICS sneaker and the rest of the collection to drop in the coming months on the Kiko Kostadinov website, the Hysteric Glamour webshop, and at select retailers.
