Kith and Columbia Sportswear have reunited for a new 45-piece collection of apparel and accessories inspired by the outdoors. Specifically, the vibrant colors and rugged terrain of the Sonoran Desert. This collection marks the sixth installment in Kith’s ongoing Element Exploration Agency (EEA) series, which in the past has included collaborations with other sportswear brands such as adidas Terrex, Oakley, and G-Shock.
Ronnie Fieg and friends took a “Kith trip” to Arizona to take in what the Sonoran Desert has to offer and test out the collection in the locale that inspired it. Joining Fieg on this trip was Victor Cruz, Teddy Santis, CC Sabathia, Zack Bia, Shawn Pecas, Greg Yuna, Salehe Bembury, Joe LaPuma, and more. Check out a short recap of the trip in the video above.
The color palette of the Kith x Columbia collection includes earthy yet vibrant shades — Red Hibiscus, Sanguine, and Cyber Purple — colors found in the Sonoran Desert landscape. Utilitarian outerwear pieces such as windbreakers and vests are constructed from weather-friendly nylons & meshes. Elemental graphics are found on tees, while fleece shorts come adorned with Kith’s landscape motif. Rounding out the collection is outdoor-oriented accessories such as Coolhead II Zero Booney hats and Omni-Freeze Zero bandanas.
The Kith x Columbia 2022 collection launches on Friday, April 8th at Kith shops and online on Kith.com (11am ET) and EU.Kith.com (11am CET). Check out the campaign imagery below.
