Original Story (07/07/20): Shortly after unveiling the upcoming Kith x Bugs Bunny collaboration, Ronnie Fieg returns to social media to reveal another Looney Tunes collab, this time in collaboration with Converse.
For this collaboration, the Converse Chuck 70 is dressed in its familiar black canvas, though the usual Converse branding on the ankle has been replaced by a Looney Tunes x Kith logo that features Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, the Tasmanian Devil, Marvin the Martian, Wile E. Coyote, and Road Runner. The cast of characters are also featured on the other side of the shoe, with the graphic stretching onto the shoe’s white rubber midsole, which also features a red Kith box logo on one side and a yellow box logo on the other. The shoe comes complete with a translucent black outsole with “Just Us Kith” branding written in the Looney Tunes “That’s All Folks” font.
No release info has been revealed, but since Bugs Bunny’s 80th birthday celebration is coming later this month, we can expect a drop very soon. Check out the images of the Kith x Looney Tunes x Converse Chuck 70 below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates on this collaboration.
Update (07/08/20): Kith has unveiled its complete Looney Tunes collection, including the Converse Chuck 70. The shoe will releases on Monday, July 13th at 10AM CDT exclusively on Kith.com. Sizes range from 3Y to men’s 13. Retail is $130 USD.
