Though Space Jam: A New Legacy (aka Space Jam 2) is not scheduled to release till at least July 2021, we have been offered a sneak peek at the sequel to the classic 1996 film courtesy of its star LeBron James.
The twelve second teaser video shows James walking dramatically towards the camera donning what appears to be the new Tune Squad uniforms that he and the Looney Tunes gang will be wearing in the film. While the OG uniform that Michael Jordan wore was primarily white, this modern jersey is dressed in vibrant blue and features an oversized orange gradient circle design that is similar to the “That’s All Folks!” outro card that appears at the end of Looney Tunes cartoons.
Also of note is the shoes that LeBron is wearing in this teaser. James is rocking the Nike LeBron 15 “Orange Box,” a shoe that came out in early 2018.
