Original Story (5/22/20): Prolific 1017 Alyx 9SM founder and designer Matthew M Williams has taken to Instagram to tease a new collaboration with Stüssy.
Using Loro Piana denim made from 100% cotton, the upcoming collection appears to involve a denim jacket and jeans (with Williams seen wearing both). The two streetwear powerhouses collaborated on a tee and rugged hiking boots last year, but this collaboration looks to be apparel-only for now.
While pricing and a release date have yet to be announced, stay tuned for updates and check out Williams’ photos below.
Update (5/25/20): Stüssy has provided release info for their collaborative denim collection with Matthew M Williams. The drop appears to involve a jacket, dress, pants, all made from California-grown Loro Piana denim (plus some cotton tees as well). The collection releases at both alyxstudio.com and stussy.com at 10am PST on Friday, May 29th.
