Reebok and Japanese label Mountain Research have unveiled a new collaboration on the Beatnik outdoor sandal, marking the third project between the two brands.
A follow-up to the Club C II Mid from earlier this year, the Mountain Research Beatnik features a premium brown leather upper with an embroidered design that borrows from old-school “cowboy” style. A rubberized outsole provides added traction, while the adjustable strap at the midfoot allows the wearer to better brave the rugged outdoors.
“Reebok’s Beatnik has an eye-catching center seam and functional strap that, in my view, presents a new generation of sandals,” says Mountain Research founder Setsumasa Kobayashi. “I am honored to have worked with the Reebok team and have the ability to apply Mountain Research designs to the silhouette.”
The Mountain Research x Reebok Beatnik launches on September 23rd via Mountain Research, followed by a global release on Reebok.com and at select retailers on September 27th. Check out the product shots and campaign imagery below.
