Original Story (07/21/20): Naomi Osaka, a two-time Grand Slam champion, is getting her own Nike Blazer Mid made in collaboration with fashion label Comme des Garçons. This collab pays tribute to Japan, Osaka’s home country, which is also the host country of the upcoming Olympics where Osaka will be competing.
This upcoming Blazer Mid features a white canvas upper with an all over monogram print with the words “Comme des Garçons” and “Naomi Osaka.” The phrase “Home is Where the Heart Is” is written on the lateral with the writing going over the leather white Nike Swoosh. Other features includes grey suede overlays and a sail-colored rubber sole.

Update (12/04/20): Nike has officially announced the release of the Naomi Osaka x CDG x Nike Blazer Mid. The shoe releases globally December 5th at all CDG and DSM shops and on DSM E-Shops. A matching t-shirt accompanies the release.
Update (11/05/20): Naomi Osaka, now a three-time grand slam champion, will soon be releasing her CDG x Nike Blazer Mid. Official images have arrived and a release is expected for later this month. Stay tuned for exact release details.
