Before NBA 2K, there was NBA Jam. Originally released as an arcade game in 1993, later making its way to consoles, the NBA Jam video game series was a fan-favorite due to its wacky graphics, physics, and commentary. Converse is now tugging at our nostalgia with their own NBA Jam collection.

Revealed as part of the collection is a Chuck 70 and Pro Leather. The Chuck features a basketball court hardwood floor pattern across the upper with a large NBA Jam logo on the lateral sides. The tongues come in a black and white design that mimics the look of TV static noise. The Pro Leather comes in black and features a pixelated fire graphic surrounding the star and chevron logo. “HE’S ON FIRE” is embossed nearby, a nod to one of the phrases commonly shouted by the announcers in the games. Both models feature teal accents in their designs. The collection will also include a yet-to-be-seen All-Star BB EVO.

The NBA Jam x Converse collection is slated to launch on August 30th via Converse.com and select retailers. Check out official images of the Chuck 70 and the Pro Leather in the collection below.
