Having debuted the KAWHI II last month with the “New Money” colorway, New Balance and Kawhi Leonard are now offering a “Goosebumps” colorway of Leonard’s second signature shoe.
The “Goosebumps” KAWHI II draws inspiration from R.L. Stine’s teen horror book series of the same name. It features a black and slime green upper along with orange accents and Kawhi’s name in Goosebumps drip font on the tongues. There are also spooky tonal graphics across black upper, such as a scarecrow sporting a No. 2 jersey.
“One of the most exciting things about working with the New Balance design team is that they give me creative freedom,” says Leonard. “Goosebumps was one of my favorite books growing up, so to see that on my own shoe is awesome. I can’t wait to see people in this shoe.”
The collaboration with the book series extends beyond the KAWHI II with tees offered in black and in white. The front features a co-branded design on the left chest and Leonard’s custom “Goosebumps” cover art on the back.
The New Balance x KAWHI II “Goosebumps” and matching tees are set to release on April 20th exclusively on the New Balance website, Foot Locker, and Champs Sports.
