The Nike ACG Air Mowabb first released in 1991, designed for tough outdoor activities such as trekking in treacherous terrain. Nike is set to bring back to model in 2021 in celebration of its 30th anniversary.
The Air Mowabb will be returning in two of its OG colorways: “Birch” (last released in 2015) and “Gravity Purple” (first-ever re-release). The Tinker Hatfield-designed model features a neoprene bootie construction around the ankle and a rubber heel counter, similar to the Air Huarache that also made its debut in 1991. These 2021 versions of the Mowabb come with pull tabs on the tongue and heel, a feature missing from the original release.
