Nike’s All Conditions Gear (ACG) line has announced its Summer 2021 collection. After this spring’s stunning all-weather accoutrements based on Oregon’s Crater Lake, ACG is continuing its world tour with a trip to Hawaii with a wide range of jackets, shirts, shorts, accessories, and shoes.
ACG’s new offerings are led in part by the Cinder Cone set, a lightweight, patterned windshell jacket and pair of pants that offer portable protection from wind and water without compromising on breathability. Elsewhere, ACG’s high tech Devastation Trail work shirt (named after a volcanic rock trail in Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park) takes advantage of Nike’s new DRI-FIT ADV, a newer fabric technology made with recycled polyester that offers breathable moisture-wicking performance, to create a wild multi-pocket button-up expedition shirt that can be rolled up for short or long sleeve UV protection.
The collection notably also features a set of women’s-specific offerings; ACG SU21 includes floral sports bras, a trail skirt, and other womenswear geared for Big Island adventures. Keeping in line with previous offerings, the collection also sees the return of bold graphics (including whales and dolphins) and the Nike ACG Mountain Fly Low, a low-top hiker equipped with React foam and a sticky rubber outsole. Finally, the release seems to finally include the North America release of the Nike ACG Deschutz + sandal teased a few months back, with the Sig Zane Designs collab likely to be officially announced soon.
You can take a look at some adventurous lookbook shots of the Nike ACG Summer 2021 collection down below. The collection launches globally on June 7th on nike.com and select retailers, though some European retailers such as LUISAVIAROMA have a handful of the pieces up for sale already.
