Most recently seen on the Nike Adapt BB basketball shoe, Nike’s FitAdapt self-lacing technology makes its way onto the Adapt Huarache. This new silhouette is a futuristic update of the classic 1991 Huarache. It features a midfoot motor that can change the fit of the shoe and is controllable by using the Nike Adapt app. The wearer can easily switch between different presets which will automatically tighten or loosen the sneaker through the app. The functionality of the app is also available through Siri and on Apple Watch. A customizable LED light located on the midsole allows for personalization and high visibility.

The initial colorways of the Nike Adapt Huarache will release on September 13 at select retailers and though the SNKRS and SNEAKRS apps. Retail price is $350 USD.
