Original Story (03/17/22): Nike’s 40th anniversary celebration of one of its most iconic silhouettes continues. Along with the Anniversary AF-1 previewed earlier this month, Nike is releasing the Air Force 1 High LV8 Vintage, paying homage to the original AF-1 High released 40 years ago.
For this release, Nike takes the OG White/Grey Air Force 1 High from 1982 and gives the Bruce Kilgore-designed model a vintage aesthetic. It comes dressed in a Coconut Milk leather upper for a slightly yellowed look, while a Sail cracked leather heel tab embodies the age and heritage of the Air Force 1. The shoe also features a nylon mesh mid-panel, original tongue tag, and silver-grey swoosh that is reminiscent of the ’82 model.
Expect the Nike Air Force 1 High ’07 LV8 Vintage to launch sometime in 2022 on Nike.com and select shops, retailing for $130 USD. Check out the photos below to compare the upcoming release to the original from 1982.
Update (06/22/22): The Nike Air Force 1 High ’07 LV8 Vintage launches on July 6th on SNKRS.
