Tinker Hatfield has designed an “Oregon Ducks” edition of the Nike Air Max 1 exclusively for Ducks of a Feather, a new NFT project by Division Street.
Division Street is a company co-founded by Tinker, Phil Knight, and other prominent Oregon alumni focused on created NIL opportunities for UofO athletes. The sales from the first NFT collection, titled “Flying Formations,” will directly benefit the University of Oregon football team, with 67.5% of the revenue split evenly between the teammates. 10% will go to a Division Street fund that benefits all participates Oregon student athletes, while the remaining 22.5% will be retained by Division Street to offset auction expenses and support its mission to create further NIL opportunities for Oregon athletes. A 10% royalty from each secondary marketplace transaction will also go to a Division Street fund.
“Flying Formations” consists of 120 unique profile picture NFTs created by Tinker Hatfield. They will go on sale on February 20th at 10am PST via a Dutch Auction format. Each “Flying Formations” NFT has a unique serial number and size that correspond to the serial number and size of the physical pair of “Oregon Ducks” Air Max 1, claimable by its owner during the claim window at a future date.
Recently, Division Street partnered with StockX on a similar limited edition drop of 100 pairs of an Air Jordan 8 “Oregon Ducks” PE. Those sold for an average price of $3,800 USD with the highest price paid being $17,000 USD.
