Nike will soon be releasing a “Swoosh Mart” pack of Air Maxes with each pair inspired by Japanese convenience stores (known as Konbinis) and the different food products that they carry. Following the reveal of the pack’s Air Max 95, the “Energy Jelly” Air Max 97, and the “Onigiri” Air Max 90, we now have a reveal of another Air Max 90. This time, the inspiration comes from Konbini fried chicken.

This Air Max 90 comes covered in a striped orange and white pattern that mimics the packaging of Famichiki, a popular brand of Konbini boneless fried chicken. The toe box and panel around the ankle are made of tear-away paper, which can be removed to reveal light brown suede, representing the fried chicken itself. Metallic silver accents are used for the Swoosh, lace locks, and heel badge. As a final touch, the insoles feature a graphic of tongs, used to remove the chicken from the heat-lamp counter.

The Nike Air Max 90 “Famichiki” and the rest of the “Swoosh Mart” pack is slated to release in Asia on March 19th via nike.com and select retailers. No word yet on a stateside release. Check out official product images below.
