Nike Air Max 90 “Laser” Release Date

Original Story (02/10/21): In 2003, Nike designer Mark Smith created an Air Force 1 which featured a laser-etched “tattoo” design on the upper and saw a limited release of 200 pairs. This laser processing technique has been used by Nike sparingly throughout the years since then. Eighteen years later, the “Laser” theme is revived with an upcoming colorway of the Air Max 90.

This Air Max 90 comes dressed in natural vegetable tan leather, with a topographical pattern etched into the toe box, quarter panel, and mudguard, while the Swoosh, tongue, and ankle portions of the upper left in its natural state. The shoe has a tonal look across the entire upper, with the branding on the tongue and heel also featuring an etched-in look. The upper sits atop a white outsole and translucent cream outsole, while the white laces come with wooden aglets. The topographical pattern on the upper is also used for the wrapping paper of the shoe’s packaging.

The Nike Air Max 90 “Laser” is expected to release in March 2021. Check out the official images below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates on its release.
