As Nike continues to celebrate 30 years of the Air Max 90, the iconic silhouette gets its own city-inspired iteration. The Nike Air Max 90 was the first Nike sneaker to become widely recognized in Russia and the latest colorway celebrates Russia’s rich history and modern architecture.
This offering is dressed in a Smoke Gray colorway with classic leather and suede uppers along with reflective touches to pay homage to the futuristic aesthetic of the skyscrapers. The Gray uppers are blended with Infrared and Lazer Blue accents to reflect the city’s night lights. The design is finished off with “Speed” and “City” found in Cyrillic on the heels as a reference to the dynamic rhythm of the megalopolis. The sneaker sits atop an Air Max midsole and tri-colored outsole.
