A Closer Look at Nike Sportswear’s “Worldwide Pack”

Original Story (06/22/20): Nike is gearing up to release an absolutely massive footwear collection spanning across their lifestyle catalogue under the “Worldwide” name.

Generally making use of black and white bases with Blue Fury and Volt accents, the upcoming models feature “WORLDWIDE” branding alongside the names of major cities and globe imagery. Some shoes also feature katakana text on the upper and soles of their respective models, Ranging from subdued to loud, models getting the “Worldwide” treatment include the Air Force 1, Air Max 90, Air Max 95, Air Max 97, Air Max 270 React, Daybreak, Tailwind, Waffle Racer, and MX-720-818. Each model has at least one colorway, but many have multiple, with the Air Force 1 having at least four colorways coming in both men’s and women’s styles.

You can take a look at a selection of sneakers releasing in the “Worldwide” collection below. Some, like the katakana-covered Air Force 1 are believed to be Japan exclusive to commemorate the upcoming Olympic Games (some styles have already dropped in Japan).
