The “Eggplant” colorway became a fan-favorite when it appeared on the Air Foamposite One in 2009. Not only did it make the Foamposite One a lifestyle staple of the era, it also led to “Eggplant” colorways making its way onto anything Foam/Penny related, including of course the Air Penny 3. A decade after its original release in 2010, the Nike Air Penny 3 “Eggplant” is now slated to makes its return.
True to its 2010 release, this offering is dressed in an Eggplant, White, and Black colorway. A white leather base is blended with black accents and collar along with a molded Foamposite overlay in an Eggplant finish. The shoe sits atop Zoom Air in the forefoot with an Air Max unit for added comfort. A Black and Eggplant outsole complete the design.
