In 1986, Nike introduced to the College Colors Program to the public, apparel and footwear designed to ignite school spirit. It was with this collection that the Nike Dunk became a staple in the world of basketball.
Last released in 2016, the Midnight Navy/Varsity Maize “Michigan” colorway of the Dunk High is now set to return. The “Air Wolverine” colorway, dubbed by many at the University of Michigan, comes dressed in the school’s official colors. This re-issue is expected to look exactly the same as the OG with a Maize yellow base and Navy blue overlays atop a white midsole and Navy outsole.
The Nike Dunk High “Michigan” is slated to make its return on September 26, 2020 for a retail price of $120 USD. Expect a release via Nike SNKRS. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates on this release.
