Original Story (11/22/21): A new barbershop-themed colorway of the Nike Dunk Low has surfaced.
This Dunk Low features a black leather upper with sky blue hits on the Swoosh, heel panel, sockliner, tongue lining, and outsole. A red, white, and blue swirl pattern inspired by barber poles is used as trimming on the rear quarter overlays. These overlays also come covered in a swirl print. Rounding out the design is mismatching red and blue lace aglets and a set of metallic hair clipper guard lace dubraes.
This isn’t the first time Nike has released a barbershop-themed sneaker. The ALL FOR 1 – CHICAGO Air Force 1 released in 2019 was created in partnership with Drew Henderson, owner of No Cuts, No Glory, and was packed with the barbershop-inspired design details. There was also the Fly x Nike SB Dunk High “Barbershop” released in 2013.
Grab a first look at the Nike Dunk Low “Barbershop” below. Expect these to drop sometime in 2022 via SNKRS and select retailers.
