Original Story (04/27/21): Matthew M Williams, Creative Director of Givenchy and founder of ALYX, has reunited with Nike to present two new colorways of the Zoom MMW 4.
The Zoom MMW 4, debuted back in December 2020, saw an instant sell-out the first time around and this second release is expected to be no different. While the “Triple Black” colorway was unveiled during Nike’s 2020 Future Sport Forum, the “Rust Factor” comes as an unannounced surprise.
The two new renditions feature the same engineered mesh upper as before and ventilation throughout, ensuring that signature lightweight look. Both pairs come with synthetic overlay details and unmissable sole units equipped with Pebax plates and Zoom Air cushioning. The “Triple Black” colorway offers a classic, all-black look with a mid-panel clip in gloss black plastic on the lateral, while “Rust Factor” combines warm tones and an ombré finish on the sole unit for a bold presentation overall.
