Leaked Photos Point to an Upcoming Nike Raygun Collection

A disparate collection of early looks at upcoming shoes points to an upcoming “Raygun” collection featuring multiple Nike Basketball sneakers.

Most famously seen on the Raygun Dunks, the “Raygun” motif calls back to an early 2000’s project from Nike highlighting the entirely fictional alien basketball team “The Roswell Rayguns.” While the Sandy Bodecker-designed Raygun Dunks became the only shoes to ever release from the project, it included team jerseys and miscellaneous merch and provide to be a fun, high-profile round of releases from The Swoosh.

Now, however, the combination of an early peek at a Raygun Kyrie 7 from @s.sam.group, leaked images of a toddler-sized Raygun Air Uptempo, and previous reports of a Raygun Air Force 1 points to the possibility of a modern revival of the Roswell Rayguns project using actual Nike Basketball silhouettes. While literally none of the details here are confirmed or official, it seems likely that the toddler version of the Raygun Uptempo would indicate a sister colorway on the adult-sized model. It’s also possible the collection could use even more silhouettes or revive the Rayguns apparel/merch.

For now, you can take a look at the leaked photosets down below. As always, stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates on the possible forthcoming Nike Roswell Rayguns 2020 collection.
