In continuation of the Super Mario Bros. 35th anniversary celebration, Nintendo has announced the release of a special Mario Red & Blue Edition of the Nintendo Switch.
The gaming system is covered entirely in the distinct red and blue color scheme of Mario’s classic outfit. It includes red Joy-Con controllers with blue straps, a blue Joy-Con grip, a red Nintendo Switch dock, and a red Nintendo Switch system. This release is the first time the system itself will be available in a new color. A stylized Mario Red & Blue Edition carrying case and screen protector complete the package. The set marks the eighth special edition Joy-Con release.
The Mario Red & Blue Edition Nintendo Switch will be available worldwide on February 12th at select retailers for a suggested retail price of $299.99.
