PANGAIA & Timberland Dress the 6-Inch Boot in Bold Colors

As winter is approaching, Timberland is partnering with materials science company PANGAIA to create a sustainable footwear collection.

PANGAIA’s brand mission is to save our environment by creating sustainable garments with innovative tech and bio-engineered materials. The apparel brand is back with another collaboration designed with nature in mind, as the brand recently collaborated with Victor Victor on an Earth-positive capsule.

The Timberland x PANGAIA footwear collection gives a modern look to the 6-Inch Timberland boot, dressing the icon in PANGAIA’s signature color palette of Galaxy Pink and Palm Green, as well as in Timberland’s classic Wheat. The footwear incorporates renewable materials such as responsibly grown rubber, abaca plant fiber, and organically grown cotton. These materials are listed on the textblock on the ankle collar.

Also in the collection is a Timberland D4C mule in a white colorway. The shoe is designed for circularity, meaning that when it’s ready to be discarded, the outsole and inner bootie webbing can be taken apart and recycled. The mule will be available exclusively via Timberland. All styles are offered in both men’s and women’s sizing.

Rooted in the brand’s collective commitment to reforestation, PANGAIA is donating a portion of the proceeds from this collaboration to the Tomorrow Tree Fund, created to support grassroots NGOs with a commitment to plant, protect, and restore trees around the globe.
