After a Paris-exclusive launch back in January, the Paperboy Paris x New Balance 992 “Fried Egg” will now be receiving a wider release.
This 992 marks the second collaboration between New Balance and the Parisian streetwear-meets-café outfit, following their debut collab collection in early 2020. As breakfast is Paperboy’s favorite meal of the day, the 992 is given a “fried egg” theme. The majority of the shoe is done up in white, representing the shell and egg-whites, while yellow suede is used for the eyestays to represent the yolk. Additional features include egg graphics on the tongues, Paperboy logos on the heels, and egg graphics on the co-branded insoles.
The Paperboy Paris x New Balance 992 “Fried Egg” drops on June 19th and June 26th (depending on the retailer) via END., SSENSE, BEAMS, and Bodega. A matching apparel collection in collaboration with BEAMS will also be available (pictured below).
