As a celebration of minimal and timeless style, Vans and PORTER are teaming up to release a footwear quadruplet and bag collection that draws inspiration from both brands’ legacies. The collaboration marks another celebration of for the brand’s anniversary, following the recent JJJJound announcement.
Yoshida & Co.’s conception of PORTER began 85 years ago, making this year one of celebration and new designs. Though they’re known for their monochromatic, utilitarian pieces, the brand slogan “One stitch, all soul” holds true in their quest for high-quality partnerships, this time represented with the collection with Vans.
Included in the collection are two OG Old Skool LXs, an OG Classic Slip-On VLT LX, and OG Sk8-Hi Reissue VLT LX. Each silhouette houses a checkerboard and/or floral print, orange hits and removable Sidestripe. The laces and other detailing vary by silhouette but the accompanying items in the collection match the footwear’s overall vibe. Alongside the shoes is a padded briefcase, wallet and luggage tag, infused with Vans’ Southern California relaxed style and PORTER’s sophisticated versatility.
The Vault by Vans x PORTER Collection will be available February 20th at select retailers.
