New Balance has turned things up a notch with this latest collection, straying from the light-hearted beach and flower packs, choosing instead to shed some light on the propaganda posters that started making their appearances around the time of World War I. Draped upon a few of NB’s venerable Elite offerings are a pairing of red, black and grey that give these the edge you’d expect from a time of war. Seen here are the MT580, 999 and 1600, which will be hitting stores officially July 1st, though it appears some retailers got their batches a little early.
