Reebok is set to revive the OG Kamikaze II, the long-championed basketball shoe specifically tuned to rocket Shawn Kemp to his status as a dunking legend.

The model was originally released in 1995 as part of Reebok’s Mobius collection, which sought to disrupt the basketball footwear landscape with eye-searing patterns and unique silhouettes. The Kamikaze II is a veritable classic, and it looks better than ever in its OG black, white, and dark green colorway.

The brand is also set to rename the model, though it hasn’t officially announced what the updated moniker will be. In a statement, they said “Looking to the future, as Reebok continues to grow alongside the ever-evolving tapestry of global cultures in which it is so deeply rooted, the brand will formally rename the historic Kamikaze model. An official update regarding the name change will be provided in the coming weeks.”

The Kamikaze II OG will release on October 22nd (11pm CDT) here via Reebok. The model is priced at $120. You can check out photos of this release down below, but stay tuned for updates on the shoe’s revamped name.
