Reebok and Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) are bringing Looney Tunes to a footwear and apparel collection. This is the fifth partnership between Reebok and WBCP, set on classic Reebok silhouettes. Paying homage to Lunar New Year, the capsule mixes traditional elements of the celebration with Looney Tunes nostalgia.
Starting with the Classic Leather Legacy AZ, Bugs Bunny’s fuzzy fur serves as inspo for the unisex style’s hairy suede upper and springy details. The other footwear offering is a men’s Royal Techque T fit for Wile E. Coyote, shown by a character tongue patch, rocket, and “BOOM!” graphic on the heel. The shoes also ship in custom shoe boxes to round out the design.
On the apparel side, the collection features unisex crewnecks and t-shirts. Retro graphics and characters such as Daffy Duck, Sylvester, and Porky Pig celebrating the holiday adorn each of the pieces. The apparel is available in 2XS-2XL sizing.
This “Lunar New Year” capsule is only part one of the Looney Tunes x Reebok collection and is available now on Reebok China. It will see a global launch in Spring 2022 on Reebok.com along with a second capsule that is yet to be revealed. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
