Russell Westbrook and Jordan Debut the “Why Not?” Zer0.4

0

NBA star Russell Westbrook partners with Jordan Brand on the release of the “Why Not?” Zer0.4 that proves how the world of performance and style don’t have to be at odds with each other.

The offering comes dressed in a mix of materials and textiles, but still in a lightweight and breathable material for performance. The design comes with a double-webbed lacing system for security and all sitting atop a double-stacked Zoom unit for responsiveness. The sneaker is finished off with a new traction pattern that works like tire strips for better grip on the court. The sneakers will be dropping in four colorways: Trust & Loyalty, Family, FACETASM and Upbringing.

One of the introductory colorways connects to Westbrook’s collaboration with the Japanese fashion label FACETASM. The collaboration with FACETASM has been in the works since Westbrook met the designer & founder Hiromichi Ochiai in 2018. Westbrook has always been in the fashion world and with his tenure with Jordan Brand he has been connected with a diverse group of relationships including Opening Ceremony and now FACETASM.

The FACETASM apparel collection comes in a green & orange color pallet and takes over Jordan staples like a track suit, jacket, hoodie and T-Shirt. FACETASM adds its signature ribbed across the arm sleeve and back along with sateen taping on the side of the pants.

Check out the official images down below and shop the apparel on January 14, 2021 while the shoes drop throughout January and February starting with the “Upbringing” colorway on January 6th via Nike.com and at select retailers.
