Original Story (06/24/22): The Sean Wotherspoon x adidas partnership so far has spawned collaborations on the Superstar, EQT Support 93, and Superturf Adventure, with much more still on the way. Recently teased by the Round Two co-founder are two more upcoming Three Stripes collabs, an adidas Samba and adidas Orketro.
A teaser photo of the SW Samba reveals the shoe’s corduroy upper covered in an abstract, multi-colored graphic print. Maroon hits appear on the tongue tags and heels, while the midsoles are transparent, the upper visible through the sidewalls. SW branding appears on the heel panels and cork insoles.
Wotherspoon is also taking on the adidas Orketro, a brand new silhouette inspired by ’90s running shoes and brutalist architecture. Like with most of Wotherspoon’s designs, there is a burst of colors throughout the shoe. Baby blue and cream make up the upper, while the oversized, asymmetrical Three Stripes branding comes in yellow. We can also see some green and orange accents in the mix.
