Round Two’s Sean Wotherspoon has been out in Germany working with adidas Originals on his upcoming SUPEREARTH collection. While there, Sean worked with the Three Stripes to create a internal process at the adidas factory in Scheinfeld to reduce/eliminate waste within the brand.
After coming across leftover adidas Samba uppers and soles from the ’70s up until today, Sean and adidas decided to piece them together to create new Round Two Sport x adidas Sambas. Sean’s preview of the recycled vintage sneaker comes in black and white colorways with large Round Two Sport branding covering the side panels in green and gold.
Check out Sean’s pics of the Round Two Sport x adidas Samba and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates on all future Sean Wotherspoon x adidas projects.

While I was in Germany with @adidasoriginals working on my SUPEREARTH collection, we also created an internal process to reduce/eliminate waste within the brand by re-defining this waste product as an actual material that can be re-used to create a new item whether that’s sneakers, clothing, accessories, etc. While taking a tour of our Scheinfeld factory evaluating any extra waste materials, I came across a load of original Samba uppers, soles, etc. leftover from the 1970’s up until today. We decided to piece them together as part of the Round Two Sport ♻️ recycled vintage program in collaboration with @adidasoriginals ♻️ Makes it even crazier that these are all officially “Made in Germany”. I can’t thank you enough Adidas, just the beginning of us changing the world! Hyped to drop the SW SUPEREARTH 🌎
