Original Story (10/21/19): Italian streatwear brand Slam Jam has teamed up with Nike again to release a new colorway of the “Class 1977” Blazer that debuted earlier this year.
Slam Jam takes the OG Blazer silhouette and takes a minimal approach to its modification by simply flipping the inner Swoosh of the shoe upside down. They then dressed the shoe in a mix-n-match of premium leathers and suedes for the upper to give the whole shoe a clean look. They originally release this shoe with a white upper and a black Swoosh at the start of this year and now they’re back again with the same design but with an inverse colorway of a black upper and white Swoosh.
Take a look at the new black colorway of the Slam Jam x Nike Blazer Mid “Class 1977” below. No release info has surfaced, so keep it tuned to Modern Notoriety for more info on this release.
Update (11/06/19): 1977 pairs of the black Slam Jam x Nike Blazer Mid “Class 1977” with special packaging will be available via Slam Jam, as well as via limited run on Nike’s UK SNEAKRS site. A raffle will run from November 9 until November 28, launching with an event in Los Angeles featuring Ho99o9. A wider release will take place on Black Friday, November 29.
