Slam Jam, the purveyors of counter-culture based out of Ferrara, Italy, has teamed up with Vans to rework the iconic Sk8-Hi.
The Sk8-Hi is a perfect silhouette for Slam Jam to work on, as it has been cherished for decades by skaters, the punk scene, and sneakerheads worldwide. It is part of the urban uniform, something Slam Jam has become an expert in since the launch of its in-house (Un)corporate Uniforms apparel and accessories line.
The Slam Jam Sk8-Hi comes in a black and white color scheme with inverted colors on the lateral and medial sides. Printed underfoot on the gum waffle outsole in heavy-duty ink is a new Slam Jam tiger mascot designed by British artist Fergus “Fergadelic” Purcell. Also, on the heels of the shoes you’ll find Slam Jam’s signature upside-down A logo.
