The Sotheby’s auction for the “Monogram” Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1s has officially ended. In total, the sales of all 200 pairs and their accompanying pilot cases combined for a sum of $25,326,900 USD.

Breaking this total down per lot gives an average closing price of $126,634.50 USD. The highest closing price went to Lot 1 of the auction, a size 5 (the smallest size), which sold for $325,800 USD. This was the only one size 5 LV AF1 included in the auction. The floor price was $75,600 USD, which went to Lot 11, a size 6.5. There were nine total pairs of Size 6.5 AF1s in the auction.

As per the late Virgil Abloh’s request, the money raised from this auction will be donated to Abloh’s “POST MODERN” Scholarship Fund, which in partnership with the Fashion Scholarship Fund, supports the education of academically promising students of Black, African American, or African descent.

Other versions of the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 will hit retail later this year. This may include the designs revealed back in June during the LV men’s Spring/Summer 2022 runway show, though nothing has been confirmed as of yet. A separate set of LV x Nike Air Force 1 colorways were also recently revealed, dressed in colors that correspond to the seven colors of the rainbow (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet), plus Black, though these are believed to be Friends & Family exclusive.

You can check out the Sotheby’s website for a full rundown of the auction closing prices. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates on the LV x Nike Air Force 1 retail release.
