Following a limited pre-launch on STAPLE DAY back in June, Jeff Staple and Cole Haan are now back with the official release of their 5.ZERØGRAND WRK sneaker collaboration.
The 5.ZERØGRAND WRK is the latest silhouette in Cole Haan’s innovative ZERØGRAND series that replaces the components of traditional footwear with ultra-lightweight, flexible, modern materials. Geared for the outdoors, this shoe features a multi-material upper with pull tabs around the collar for easy on and off. Its Grand 360 EVA midsole comes with a distinctive diamond-shaped design, while the Ghillie cord lacing system ensures you get the perfect fit every time.
The STAPLE edition of the shoe comes in the brand’s signature grey-based color palette, as well as in an exclusive “Friends & Family” colorway with bold pops of teal, purple, and pink. Of course, the iconic Pigeon logo appears on the lateral heel of the shoe.
The accompanying campaign imagery was shot on the beachside cliffs of Montauk, New York and alludes to the climb and journey of one’s career. The rocky landscape speaks to the shoe’s terrain-informed design and how a sense of maturation, clarity, and self reflection can only be gained through doing the work.
Both colorways of the STAPLE x Cole Haan 5.ZERØGRAND WRK drop on Thursday, August 25th on the STAPLE website and then on atmos USA on Friday, August 26th. The shoe will also launch on Cole Haan on September 8th. Check out both colorways below.
