Following the release of their Spring 2021 apparel collection, the longstanding partnership between Supreme and Nike continues with a new collaboration on the Air Max 96.
An obscure model compared to other members of the Air Max family, the Air Max 96 makes its return, though with a modified design that sees its standard mesh construction replaced with transparent paneling on the side panels and toe box. On the black colorway, one of three upcoming pairs, the upper’s transparent panels are paired with black leather and a red embroidered Swoosh on the lateral heel. Supreme branding dresses the edges of the tongue in black with white lettering, while a more prominent red box logo and Swoosh dress the top of the tongue. Additional Supreme branding is found on the insoles and on the heel plate. The black colorway sits atop a black sole unit with visible Air units in the heel and forefoot.
Look for the Supreme x Nike Air Max 96 to release in black, camo, and a third colorway in the coming weeks via Supreme’s retail locations and online store. The black colorway is available now in size 11 on Stadium Goods.
