Original Story (08/12/20): Supreme has begun to preview some pieces for its upcoming Fall/Winter 2020 season. One of the teaser images shared by the NY-founded streetwear giant include a first look at an upcoming collaboration with The Smurfs.
The Smurfs franchise started off as a comic created by a Belgian cartoonist known as Peyo in 1958. Since then, the franchise has expanded into TV shows, movies, toys, among other industries. The franchise is now hitting the streetwear scene. The Supreme x Smurfs teaser image gives us a look at a pair of black denim jeans with one the Smurf characters decorating the back right pocket. A matching jacket is also seen with Supreme written on the lower back in Smurfs font.
Another teaser image gives us a look at a furry hooded jacket dressed in white with blue streaks and an appliqué Supreme script logo. Check out both teaser images below and expect a full Fall/Winter 2020 reveal from Supreme very soon.
Update (09/29/20): Supreme will be releasing pieces from its collaboration with The Smurfs this week. The complete collaboration consists of a Leather Jacket, GORE-TEX Shell Jacket, Denim Trucker Jacket, Sweater, Hooded Sweatshirt, GORE-TEX Pant, Jean, T-Shirt, Skateboard and Beanie. The pieces confirmed to be releasing this week, however, are the Leather Jacket, Sweater, Hooded Sweatshirt, Skateboard and Beanie. These pieces drop on October 1st (Oct 3rd in Japan), while the remaining pieces in the collab drop later in the season.
