Original Story (02/18/20): The Hundreds co-founder, Bobby Hundreds, took to Instagram to announce his newest collaboration with our favorite childhood author, Roald Dahl.
This collection will be inspired by Dahl’s famous books. In his Instagram post, Bobby holds up a stack of Roald Dahl favorites like The Witches, Matilda, The BFG, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and James and the Giant Peach.
The collection was supposed to drop next week but is going to be held back for last edits. Keep an eye out for this collaboration on Bobby Hundred’s Instagram page.
Update (03/25/20): After a minor delay, The Hundreds x Roald Dahl will release tonight at 9 PM PST / 12 AM EST. Though we don’t have any product shots yet, we do have a look at original Roald Dahl art by Sir Quentin Blake that will be incorporated in the collection. The Hundreds shared these images on their website, along with a blog post titled “11 Words Roald Dahl Invented that We Need to Start Using ASAP.” Read that here and cop the collection on The Hundreds’ webstore.

I’m reading through all of these tonight (they’re much shorter than I remember) and putting the finishing touches on The Hundreds by Roald Dahl. I know many of you are wondering about the release date – it was supposed to be next week, but it looks like we may push it out slightly for me to squeeze in these last edits. The good news is that I love this project dearly – what it means and how it's turning out. Roald Dahl’s stories were always wonderful escapes for me, in childhood and even now as a stuffy grown-up. Traveling all over the world while sitting here in this little room.
