The THUNDERBOLT PROJECT BY FRGMT & POKÉMON returns with a new capsule collection to commemorate the release of Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution, the CGI remake of Pokémon: The First Movie (1998).
Having released Pikachu and Eevee pieces back in May, this time we see Japanese streetwear designer Hiroshi Fujiwara’s take on Mew and Mewtwo. The collection is comprised of hoodies, t-shirts, caps and black leather Mew plushes.
Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back—Evolution will premiere with Japanese vocals and English subtitles at Anime Expo on July 4. It will be released in Japan on July 12 and will see a US release on November 17. The THUNDERBOLT PROJECT capsule collection will be available on July 17-30 at Isetan Shinjuku’s MEN’s Building in Tokyo with a wider release online on July 20 at isetan.mistore.jp.
